She promised the sellers that we’d close on time, and she saw us through the process step by step. Pat also helped us sell a home, and her expertise and strong project management skills made the process very easy for our family. She not only set up the open houses like a typical agent would do, but she also project managed updates to the house prior to the open house in order to make the home more attractive. Pat was able to look at the house and determine what needed to be done within our budget in order to make it more attractive. She was happily helping us in every detail, from getting contractor quotes to picking new paint colors.

Pat McNulty worked diligently for eight months to help me find a home that met my needs and specifications. During this time, she continually emailed me information on available properties and took me to visit any that seemed to be possibilities.

When the “right” house materialized, Pat was very helpful in helping me to secure the loan and navigating the overwhelming paper work. Banks, at the time, were not granting loans on assets—they wanted monthly cash income. As a retiree with little incoming monthly cash, I was turned down. Pat referred me to a trusted loan broker who helped me to get the financing that I needed.

When we discovered some issues with the house that were not disclosed, Pat arranged for meetings with representatives of the sellers to negotiate through the issues. She also provided names of electricians, handymen, etc. to make needed repairs.

As is the practice, my home was assessed at the purchase price. Not long after, the housing market dropped and comparable homes in the area were selling for much less. Pat assisted me with my appeal to the County Assessor for a reduction in property tax.

Even after four years, Pat keeps me updated on real estate activity in the neighborhood and remains a valued resource for homeowner issues. I feel very fortunate to have Pat as my realtor and highly recommend her for her professionalism and concern for her clients.

We have purchased two properties with Pat and she has made each purchase a smooth experience. She really does her research, reads all the detailed paperwork and identifies and deals with any issues. We have never had to chase her to find out what is happening and she is always on top of the process. It makes the buying experience so much more relaxing.

She also properly listens to your requirements so you will see properties that fit what you like or can be adapted. Other realtors we met seemed just to want to show you everything “just in case”. The most amazing thing about Pat though is her after-sales service. We have bought property elsewhere and have pretty much been “dumped” by the agent after the ink has dried. Pat however keeps in regular contact – but never in an annoying way! She forwards relevant information about the property market (for example if a comparable house sells in the area). She is also a font of knowledge about local tradesmen and we have used painters and floor people recommended by her and been very happy with the results.

However, Pat surpassed all expectations recently when my husband and I went on a 14 month trip overseas. She volunteered to act as point of contact for 2 sets of tenants. It was such a relief to go away knowing that our properties were under her capable eye and of course everything went smoothly in our absence.
